Sandvik Credit forms part of Sandvik Financial Services within Sandvik Holding.Sandvik Credit is responsible for all credit management-related issues within the Sandvik group, such as the issuing and practice of the group's Credit Policy, coordinating payment terms and trade finance instruments used in the everyday life of the numerous Sandvik group companies.Customer Finance is also a credit management-related activity organized and governed by Sandvik Credit.Customer Finance is mainly a tool designed to promote sales for Sandvik Business units. We are now looking for a Controller for Customer Finance located in Sandviken.Key performance areas As Controller you will be responsible for the administrative processes connected to Sandvik's Customer Finance operations.Your tasks will include accounting, reporting, securing administrative processes and studies on an ad hoc basis.Another important feature will be the ownership of, and responsibility for, the Customer Finance Administration system that Sandvik uses, namely ProFinance.The short term goal will be to secure the necessary processes and the long term goal will be to expand the operation to new parts of the Sandvik world. In the financial control function you will bear responsibility for the business administration of Sandvik's customer finance operations.Work will involve intimate knowledge of the administrative processes and the financial and business control of customer finance entities.Primary tasks reflect the following areas: -Financial control - first class accounting and group reporting standard -Business control - key performance indicators, reports and follow-up -Ownership of ProFinance, the Sandvik financing contract administration system -Development and implementation of business control initiatives -Various analyses and studies as necessary The position is located at Sandvik Credit in the HQ, interacting with the Sandvik Credit Management Team, as well as the worldwide Customer Finance organization based on different locations (US, Germany, Chile and expanding).Your profile To be successful in this position, you will need a suitable educational background in economics or finance, plus a few years of professional experience from banking or financing operations.Additionally, we especially value experience from a financing administration system, in particular ProFinance.Good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication skills and the ability to cooperate at all levels of the company are desirable.Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
