About the position
Perido is looking for a Controller for our client, a well-known company in the automotive industry. They are offering the opportunity to work in an international environment with connections both internally and within the global insurance market. In this role, you will be based at the client's office in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As a Controller within the insurance division, you will play a key role in ensuring that insurable risks posing a serious threat to the company's industrial and commercial operations are managed in a consistent and controlled manner. You will be part of a global insurance network, maintaining close contact with units worldwide, insurance companies, and brokers. Your responsibilities include gathering global property values, communicating with key stakeholders, handling incoming and outgoing invoices, and conducting financial reviews for the internal insurance company. You will also manage forecasts, budgets, and present financial information to the board, while coordinating accounting, compliance, risk, and auditing functions. Staying informed on regulatory changes and preparing for future legislation will be an important part of your role.


Your characteristics
To be successful in the role as Controller, you should have a structured and process-oriented approach, with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve existing methods. You must have the ability to manage and complete tasks on time while being a strong team player, capable of building strong relationships with both stakeholders and customers. Additionally, being self-motivated and proactive is essential for taking initiative and ensuring high-quality deliveries.

Qualifications:
University education in financial administration or business administration
Ability to understand, interpret and communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner
Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse network
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and experienced user of other Microsoft Office programs as well as SAP
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written(meritorious with knowledge in other languages)



Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2026-03-13, with a possibility of extension. Start 2024-12-16.
