Group Tax is responsible for the Sandvik Group’s total tax position; enabling structures and processes that are common for the Group and providing services within the tax area. To strengthen the competence in Tax Control issues, we’re now looking for an experienced Controller to join our organization. Your mission
In this position, your overall responsibility is to ensure timely and correct tax reporting. You’re involved in analyzing, designing and implementing guidelines for our tax position, and you cooperate with your colleagues to give advice and support regarding the tax reporting process. Coordinating the implementation of well-functioning processes, policies and guidelines and supporting our organization in following the instructions is also an important part of your role. You develop and conduct relevant training within the organization, as well as drive and coordinate the exchange of best practices and networking.
Other tasks included in your mission is to:
Analyze the income taxes reported in the quarterly closings.
Oversee the tax audit register and tax risk reporting.
Prepare and present quarterly instructions for tax reporting.
Prepare the tax note in the annual report for the Sandvik Group.

The location for this role is either in Sandviken or at our headquarters in Stockholm, and we’re offering flexible working options.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with experience of working with accounting in a larger organization, experience from working with tax controlling is beneficial. You have a relevant university degree in economics or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have good knowledge in Excel, and as we work in an international environment, English language skills are needed, while Swedish is beneficial.
