Controller/Projekt Administrator

The SKF Group Manufacturing Development Centre in Gothenburg is the central research and development facility for manufacturing processes used in SKF. With 65 employees of various nationalities its role is to reinforce SKF's technical leadership in manufacturing and processing of rolling bearings and related products.

One of our employees will take up a new position and we are looking for a Controller and Project Administrator

The SKF Group Manufacturing Development Centre - MDC - has an important responsibility for developing new technologies, processes and equipment for ultimate use in SKF factories distributed worldwide. MDC is a project based organisation and as such we are seeking a Controller and Project administrator who has a good in depth knowledge in financial systems and experience from project administration. The person should be highly motivated to work in an international team in an R&D environment. The successful candidate is expected to be an effective communicator and team player with a capability to also work independently in developing the existing systems.

Key Tasks:
The position is split between two main responsibilities; Controlling and Project administration. Your tasks will be:
- Maintaining the financial records, including its general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventories and other accruals, payroll journal, and general journal using generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Responsible for processing accounts payable, expense claims, journals and accounts receivable including (project) invoicing
- Maintaining the project administration and responsible for project management reporting and analyzes
- To support the project leaders in MDC with administrative matters and coordination of general MDC related issues.
- Prepares/coordinates and supports the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and other planning and control procedures and analyzes.

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent education and/or relevant experience.
- Good knowledge and experience from financial systems.
- Preferably a few years experience from working in a project based organisation.
- Organised and structured way of working with a high sense of quality.
- A self-motivated, proactive team worker with good communication skills.
- Good ability in written and oral English
