Conventional Facilities at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Conventional Facilities Control Lead.

Description of main responsibilities
As Project Control Lead you will be Group Leader for the new team “Conventional Facilities Control”. The team members already today function as support to Conventional Facilities’ Division Head Kent Hedin. The role “CF Control Lead” will be Group Leader for the team members and will also participate in the Division’s management team.

The Control Lead is responsible for: 


• Structuring the works tasks in the Control team to create an efficient working team
• Setting up, developing and maintaining processes for cost, invoicing, changes, interface, planning and reporting within the Division
• That the financial status (forecasts, earned value analyses, cash flow analyses) are prepared and presented to internal and external stakeholders
• Monthly and Quarterly Reports are made for the Division
• that ESS management team is provided with input regarding cost and schedule for the division
• Cash flow plans for CF’s subprojects – Design, Construction and Office & Labs
• Manage and act as contact person for CF’s Framework design agreements which means

• Overall control of the call-offs within the CF Framework agreement
• Assisting and guiding Design Leads in Legal disputes and interpretations of ABK09 (General Conditions of Contract for Consulting Agreements for Architectural and Engineering Assignments)
• Maintain the relationship with the Framework agreements partners
• Supervise competition in the hiring of new consultants

• Control of the Division’s all invoices and costs (daily cost control as well as revisions)
• Together with CF Cost Control act as contact person to main contractors cost department

Qualifications
In this recruitment, there is a high focus on personality and organizational fit. In addition to this the CF Control Lead need to have the following qualifications:


• A minimum of 10 years’ experience from work in large construction projects
• Knowledge and experience from working with AB 04, ABK09, ABT (General conditions of contracts)
• Experience from cost controlling, estimation and planning
• Experience from setting up work processes
• Leadership Experience
• Able to organize and prioritize
• The ability to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite
• Social competence and openness/adaptability to changes.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent and your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
