Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The Printing and Material Treatment group within Development & Engineering / Packaging Material is responsible for developing and maintaining the key technology printing for Tetra Pak.The group is also responsible for implementing the converting strategies for printing equipment (including creasing and cutting tools/equipment), setting process specifications and introducing process control.Implementations of new Prepress and Printing equipment and upgrades together with technical support and training within the competence areas of pre-press, printing and material treatment are also managed by this group.We can offer you a creative and stimulating work environment, as we need to strengthen our team with a Converting Section Owner Prepress Your main tasks will be to: .Define, create and maintain technical documentation, training program & material and validation & verification methods for Digital Prepress..Share knowledge and information within Converting Factories and Suppliers..Be technical support interface for the Converting Factories .Plan, perform and document technical audits .Contribute to know how gap closure..Develop existing suppliers and drive account forums with key suppliers .Maintain and develop selected suppliers .Represent Digital Prepress section in internal and external forums and teams Professional Skills and Experience: .5 years experience within the area of Digital Prepress equipment (ESKO, Colour management and Colour proofing) and print process knowledge (printability evaluations, prepress flow) .Print process knowledge (printability evaluations, prepress flow) .Installation and "hands-on" experience within the area .Degree in Printing technologies or Graphic Design -university degree is beneficial .A very good command of English, both written and verbal, is required To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results.You are a team player who has the ability to advise others on how to use the best methods.You will be working in a global environment and the position involves international travelling (50-100 days/year).Key philosophy within the group is "freedom with responsibility".
