COO to a scale up our delivery on an expanding market

Now we are looking for a COO to help us scale up our delivery process from, production, and logistics to commissioning. The Company
IVISYS develops and sells advanced machine vision inspection systems that provide solutions for flaw detection, verification, and measurement applications. Our systems build on patented algorithms that are invariant to object rotation and scaling and robust against varying illumination conditions. After years of dedicated research and development, IVISYS has developed an effective method to perform automated quality control for the manufacturing industry. Today we supply the most flexible, robust and easy to use vision system for the manufacturing logistics industry.

The role
This position is based in Stockholm Sweden. To apply you need to have a work permit and living arrangements set up in Sweden. The market and the company isare growing rapidly and our goal is to build an international organization over the next few years and the work has already started. Right now, Ivisys is 30+ employed in Stockholm. Our office is currently located in Spånga.Vällingby.

As a COO, you will be part of Ivisy's management team and work closely with the company's CEO. You will manage aan increasing group of people currently consisting of 12 people within purchasing, production, installation and product development. The staff will be supported and supervised daily by team leaders. The software team reports to CTO.

Your main task will be to take ownership of scaling up the delivery capacity together with EMS partners and take responsibility for the entire delivery process from hardware design to production, logistics and commissioning.

As the company is still relatively small (at present), you will work at both strategic and operational level with everything from the company's strategies, roadmap and business development to help solve technical problems and build your organization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Ownership of the delivery process, which includes responsibility for upscaling production together with the EMS supplier.
Leading and setting goals for your staff and building your organization
Budget responsibility
Work with further development of the road map together with peers in the management team and be part of the entire journey.
Pursue the long-term agenda
Contribute to problem solving and troubleshooting of machines.•
Contribute to the company's overall processes being efficient and helping us in the best way to achieve our overall goals.

Your Background & Skills

You have experience of a role where you have taken a product from small-scale manufacturing to volume production together with an EMS partner. We also want you to have a background from an industry that is characterized by electronics and automation preferably from an international environment.

We believe that you are a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent or that you have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way. For this position you need to have an excellent command in the English language. If you speak Swedish this is also a merit.
