About the role
We are now looking for a Chief Operating Officer who will play a central role in Allgon's continued development. As COO you will mainly be responsible for the Supply Chain and Operation-projects within the whole Allgon group, and lead a team consisting of Product Quality, Subsidiary Support, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics, Production, Aftermarket, and Technical Sales.
You will be based at Allgon Headquarters newly renovated office in Gothenburg and have the main responsibility of the Supply Chain Organization of Allgon companies. The plan is that TR and AKS will be further integrated in the future with common sourcing and production, but brands will be separated.
As COO you are going to be a member of the management team and report directly to the CEO.
Key responsibilities:
Leading the Supply Chain organization, supervising, and mentoring the team
Create and govern a strategic roadmap for the Supply chain organization and establish the Supply Chain process
Responsible for purchasing, logistics, and transportation
Optimize on costs and stock
Create and manage a network of suppliers
Oversees quality control of products and services
Who we are looking for
We are searching for a person who have strong social and collaborative skills, leadership qualities and an ability to engage people around them. Responsible, communicative and action oriented are qualities we think fit this person well. You enjoy working strategically and analytically but have no issue to take an operational approach when needed. To suit the role as COO you are able to build relationships easily and preferably have a habit of working in international environments as the role includes regular contact with production departments in Sweden, Vietnam and China different suppliers, subsidiaries around the worlds and other departments internally.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in related fields
Broad experience within the field purchasing and logistics
Leadership experience
Analytic and well structured
Experience with ERP, preferably D365
IT-skills
Great communication skills both written and spoken English and Swedish
A never-ending drive to achieve operational excellence High working capacity
Deep business understanding
