Information about the division/the project
The Graphene Flagship is a 1,000 million euros research program funded by the European Commission. It brings together academic and industrial researchers to take graphene and related materials from academic laboratories to European society, creating economic growth, new jobs and new opportunities. Chalmers University of Technology has the responsibility for flagship management and administration.
The project hosts a large annual conference and various smaller workshops throughout the year. To promote these events and other project initiatives, the Graphene Flagship maintains a customer relations management system to ensure efficient communication with relevant stakeholders. In this role you will support project event management and communications.
Job description
This is a temporary position for the remaining period of the GrapheneCore3 project (until September 2023). The position will work with the dissemination team. The explicit tasks include:
- Administrative support on Graphene Flagship events
- Support with managing our contacts list and preparing sendouts, newsletters and promotions using our customer relations management tool (Dynamics)
- Digital event support, running zoom calls, supporting attendees with tech issues, event communications
- Website content updates and maintenance

Temporary employment February 1st 2023 - September 30 2023
Qualifications
Required qualifications include;
(i) familiarity with various software tools and applications
(ii) organised and capable of juggling multiple tasks
(iii) excellent command of English (written and spoken)
(iv) able to work well in a team.
Supplementary skills that are useful in executing the tasks comprise;
(i) knowledge of Swedish is a plus but not required
(ii) familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Ungapped
(iii) experience working on event support and communication.
