Hitachi Energy is seeking a coordinator for the product responsible unit Product Responsible Unit (PRU) for On Load Tap Changers (OLTC). The Product Responsible Unit (PRU) is responsible for the technical data of the products and support our factories and Local Design Offices (LDO´s) around the world that configure and produce On Load Tap Changers (OLTC´s.)
This role is organized in the engineering department for tap changers where you will act as our internal coordinator organizing the work ensuring that support cases are managed in due time whilst keeping all communication and information well organized. Travel to the local factories may be necessary on occasion. Depending on your background, you may be able to answer some questions by yourself and for other you will need the help of the colleagues and experts in the engineering department.
Your role is also to monitor that all units adhere to the procedures and guidelines described by the global technology organization. You will work in cooperation with your colleagues in the bushings department since you will communicate with the same Local Design Offices (LDO´s) using the same systems and tools.

Your responsibilities
Organize instructions and documents in a central repository
If necessary, support in the development of new instructions and documents
Follow-up that Local Design Offices follow the framework set by instructions and guidelines
Ensure that incoming support cases are managed and answered in time according to rules and guidelines
Cooperate with the existing PRU for bushings and share workload wherever possible and suitable
Ensure that all cases are logged and invoiced to CHTEC after completion
Define and implement continuous improvement projects for the Product Responsible Unit function
Your background
You are an engineer with experience of mechanical or electrical design with a strong interest in quality
Experience of transformers and tap changers is beneficial
Most important for this role is your personality and your willingness to learn and explore new areas
Good teamwork and collaboration skills are crucial to succeed in the role!
Good communication and networking skills are essential as the role needs to interface with various stakeholders in the organization
Proficiency in English is a must, whereas additional languages are a plus
