Copyright Support Screener (part-time)

Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

We are now looking for a part-time Copyright Support Screener within Digital Rights Management to join our HQ team! This is a part-time, temporary position (80% until the end of October).



Job description

The nature of our business requires us to be great at managing the rights to our music on online platforms like YouTube and Facebook, that’s why we need you! As our Copyright Support Screener, your tasks will include helping our fast-growing customer base of content creators and editors to solve copyright-related issues on all online platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Work with processes such as copyright disputes and support our enterprise clients and partners with safelisting

- Support our DRM Coordinators with ownership conflicts

- Support on ad-hoc projects

- Raise any questions/findings that need to be addressed on a higher level within the company

- Support in establishing improvement processes







Who you are?

Although you will be working in a team and have guidance and support when needed, you will be encouraged to seek out answers and be confident enough to resolve complex situations on your own. You will also be required to collaborate and report back to your colleagues on your processes, so great team spirit is important for this role.

- Well-organized with awesome attention to detail

- Excellent in written English

- An administrative superstar

- Good understanding of Excel, Numbers and/or Google Sheets

- Ability to manage your time efficiently while performing daily tasks in a detailed and accurate way

- Bonus points if you have experience from working with an online video platform, music CMS or simply if you have a passion for music and YouTube



Most important is a great attitude and sense of ownership. You are based in Sweden and may work remotely, which means your office is wherever you need it to be! Although the day to day work is from home, you’ll be an important part of the Digital Rights Management department and our offices are available for your use as well!
