Our home is a place called Älmhult – next to a lake in the middle of the Swedish forest. It’s a special little town, given that it’s home to a mix of people from all over the world. Kinda like remote working, but with all your colleagues right there next to you.

The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people – and we’re always searching for new and better ways to do it. We gather insights about life at home, learning about the needs and dreams of people all over the world. And we use our home furnishing knowledge to create products and solutions that will enable more people to live the life they want.

We’re looking for an English-language copywriter to join our global copy team. As a copywriter at IKEA Marketing & Communication, you use creativity and storytelling to stimulate interest in home furnishing, build a strong brand position and increase visitation to IKEA stores and IKEA.com. In this role, you work collaboratively with art directors, UX designers and interior designers.

Your projects could range from the launch package for a new collection, to conceptualising seasonal campaigns for IKEA.com and social media, to creating content for our corporate site. Depending on the project, you may be expected to play a creative lead role, which means leading other creatives and making sure that the communication is on-brief, strategically on-point and has creative height.
