Areas of responsibility
As a copywriter you will form the creative and strategic core of a creative team with one of our Art Directors. You will work in an integrated way, combining traditional in store, digital and inbound marketing to promote our Scandi cool street style fashion, empowering brand and growing number of stores.
You will also work closely with the creative team as a whole; stylists, visual merchandisers, social media, events and PR experts. In addition, you and your fellow copy colleagues are responsible for the company’s tone of voice and written communication. It’s 360 fashion marketing; everything from product text to major collection drops.
Your profile
As a Copywriter you should have a couple of years experience, a good grasp of the creative process – ideation to production and, your portfolio should reflect your creativity and strategic skills. Experience in Social media copy is an advantage.
As a copywriter you should craft your copy to perfection and be fluent in English – this is a non-negotiable, Monki communicates almost exclusively in English.
A degree in advertising or equivalent is an advantage. As is previous inbound marketing and/or retail experience and, of course, a love for fashion.
As a person you need to be able to hold your own; be decisive but kind, play well in a team (you’re joining an awesome one) and be passionate about what you do.
