You have knowledge of:
• Wide knowledge of range in Home Furnishing Accessories (HFA)
• Complete solutions with HFA and Furniture
• Understands ways of working between key stakeholders, IoS and Retail
• Trends that influence home furnishing, retail design and communication to gain insight to a more appealing product presentation for customers in our retail environment
• How to apply financial knowledge to achieve organisational goals and objectives
• Applies knowledge of industry trends, outlooks and emerging technologies to achieve organisational goals and objectives
• Coordinating and directing activities (incl. virtual) to help achieve business objective
• The methods for presenting the range and service range using store media, display techniques and store layout as commercial tools
• How to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a cross-functional project
• sales steering methods and tools to draw customers' attention to prioritized products to reach commercial goals
Your training is within business management, marketing or equivalent and you bring 5 years of working experience in sales or commercial planning. You have proven strong interpersonal and project management skills, as well as strong leadership skills to lead the matrix.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide coaching and support for sales partners in Core Areas, IoS HFBs and markets, in salesmanship, customer interactions and Retail Foundation to ensure best practice and an excellent customer sales experience.
You will:
• Act as a member of the Selling team and proactively contribute to Selling plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact (for example Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture)
• Support Core Areas to deliver complete solutions with Furniture and HFA
• Strengthen the existing sales tactics and approaches as well as contribute to developing new global IKEA sales tactics
• Document and share best practices to share knowledge, competence and information
• Collect feedback on effectiveness of sales approaches and improvement ideas in order to develop new sales approaches and tactics
• Coach on retail Foundation improvement based on the outcome of functional review
• Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the selling function in order to contribute to the business goals
• Measure performance of output in sales activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and to ensure performance excellence throughout the year
• Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
• In collaboration with IoS, HF&RD and Digital deliver new solutions to support the Growth Plan initiatives
• Deveop learning content in collaboration with the Learning Designers
• work across functions within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses.
