The OS & DD software section's main responsibilities are to handle operating systems functionality, develop device drivers and perform low level concept studies to Sony-Ericsson's mobile phone projects. Decription of duties: The position includes requirement analysis, software design, implementation and unit testing. Your main assignment will be design and implementation of low level software. Your work is often performed in projects which include interaction with other co-workers and units of Sony Ericsson and also external suppliers. Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will have a master's degree in engineering and experience of C/C++, embedded systems and RTOS. You enjoy working both independently and in small teams and are focused on reaching result on time. You should be able to work well under pressure, take responsibility and cooperate. Personally we think that you are highly motivated in your role, patient and equipped with an inner drive to success. Since Sony Ericsson is a global company we expect you to have a very good working knowledge in written and spoken English. International travels might occur. Experience of, or interest in technologies like USB, WiFi, DVB-H, H264 decoders, CPU's, embedded file systems or Lauterbach debug tools is considered a merit.
