The Volvo Penta team is now looking for a Corporate Communication Manager who will develop and deliver class- leading internal communication that facilitates buy-in, paints the big picture behind the “why”, drives employee engagement and helps lead the overall business transformation within the Volvo Penta organization.
The Volvo Penta Brand Communication and Marketing team strive to be an agile and flexible team that always have the aim to support each other across the responsibility areas. The main responsibility for the candidate will be internal communication but with support also in external areas connected to corporate communication i. e sustainability, financial reports etc.
The ideal candidate is an innovative team-player and a driven communications professional who is passionate about working with modern communication ideas and tools to accelerate the understanding of Volvo Penta’s future vision in order to increase transformation understanding and speed. Preferably you have already worked with change management communication.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Brand, Marketing and Communication, you will be part of the global Volvo Penta Communication Community and work in close cooperation with Volvo Group Corporate Communication and Business Areas in order to develop, deliver and evaluate efficient internal communications strategies, plans and tactics.
Key responsibilities:
Planning and execution of internal communication strategies in a changing business landscape
Leading the Volvo Penta internal communication cooperation with Volvo Group Communication and Business Areas
Learning new ways to catalyze information and culture
Support in external corporate communication areas
Educational Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Minimum 5-10 year’s successful experience in a similar role
Experience from change management communication is meriting

Ability to make company strategies and complex technologies simple to understand for all audiences within the organization
Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational work.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
