Corporate Communications Director

A big part of our position is about being different – different than the old insurance world, and different from your average tech company. Communication plays an important role to let the world know just how different we are. We are now looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Director to join our global team to continue building the story that is Hedvig.
What about the role?
Develop and constantly fine-tune our corporate communications strategy
Identify and craft compelling stories related to company announcements
Work closely with our corporate spokespersons: CEO, Country Manager Denmark, and Country Manager Norway
Develop strong relationships with corporate and business media both on a local and global level
Be in charge of corporate PR agency relationships in Denmark and Norway
Act as a press contact for incoming company-related questions
Craft written material such as press releases, Q&As, statements, and op-eds
Craft company-related news stories for LinkedIn
Proactively plan around communicative risks and manage potential negative news cycles

What about you?
A proven track record of contributing to a company’s growth through communications and PR
A few years of experience from working with corporate communications
A proactive mindset and way of working combined with a love for mixing strategic thinking with hands-on work
A background either on the agency side or working at a tech/scale-up company – or both
Excellent writing skills in English
Experience from working with investor relations is a plus
