The company and the team
Scania’s purpose is to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system. To this end, our company is undergoing a radical transformation, from being a global traditional truck manufacturer to becoming a championing provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. Corporate communications play a key role to catalyse this change towards stakeholders both internally and externally through strategic communication activities.
What’s the opportunity?
As a Corporate Communications Manager, you are part of the Corporate Communications team that drives internal and external communications for Scania Group. • Plan and prepare significant corporate communications projects, driven by the needs of corporate communications’ stakeholders.
• Develop and drive Scania’s ESG communication for an engaging, storytelling ESG transmedia communication that helps tell the holistic Scania story for relevant stakeholders.
• Plan and prepare activities as the communications to lead for projects that showcase progress on Scania’s sustainability commitments, “Science Based Targets progress report” and “Green bond impact report” for example.
• Act as an advisor to colleagues in the global Scania family and the Traton Group in ESG-related communication.
What are we looking for in a successful profile?
• Relevant university degree
• Experience of working in a range of communication disciplines, especially in the areas of sustainability and financial communication
• Excellent skills in English and Swedish, spoken and written
• A mix of strategic, tactical, and operational capability
• Mindset open to driving transformation
• Strong networking capabilities to build and maintain excellent relationships
• Good ability to collaborate with spokespersons, both experts and executives
• The analytical ability to interpret data and information and translate it into impactful communications
Why should you apply?
You want to join a big company with a small family company spirit.
