Corporate communications play a key role to catalyse this change towards stakeholders both internally and externally through strategic communication activities.
What’s the opportunity?
As a Corporate Communications Specialist, you are part of the Corporate Communications team that drives internal and external communications for Scania Group. The team is based at the Head Office in Södertälje outside Stockholm. In this role, you will work with a broad range of communications and be part of the team’s efforts to support Scania’s corporate objectives through different initiatives.
This is a senior role for a communications specialist with a passion for creating strong networks and impactful, relevant, strategic communication internally as well as externally. The role will include project management responsibility for specified corporate communications projects, such as working with our internal stakeholders, addressing the total information landscape across different channels, and strengthening internal communication. In this role, you will also work with PR and media relations.
It is a role that requires you to both speak and write Swedish and English proficiently.
What will you be doing?
• Work with a broad range of communication disciplines.
• Plan and prepare and implement corporate communications projects, driven by the needs of corporate communications’ stakeholders.
• Develop the internal communication strategy and network across the organization.
• Support hands-on with PR, media relations, and crisis communications.
• Write impactful texts for different target groups.
• Be an advisor to colleagues in the global Scania family and coach and support co-workers and leaders to communicate effectively.
What are we looking for in a successful profile?
• Relevant university degree
• 5+ years of working with a broad range of communication disciplines, especially in internal communications
• Experience from working with PR, media relations, and crisis communications
• Strong networking capabilities and the capability to build and maintain excellent relationships and networks
• A proactive and trusted communication advisor
• A mix of strategic, tactical, and operational capability
• Excellent skills in English and Swedish, spoken and written
• Experience working in or with a global company is a benefit
