Corporate Communications Specialist
Are you a strong creative writer, who has a passion for communication and collaboration? Nasdaq is looking for an Internal/Corporate Communication Specialist who is based in Stockholm. This is an exciting role for you who has proven experience with communication and is used to working independently in a team across all time zones.
About Nasdaq Corporate Communications
Nasdaq's Corporate Communications team is responsible for protecting and promoting all aspects of the Nasdaq brand. We are a team of collaborators who specialize in public relations, corporate message and thought leadership creation, crisis communications, and employee communications.
Role & Responsibilities
Our next Stockholm-based colleague as a Corporate Communications Specialist will support Nasdaq’s enterprise and internal employee communications initiatives in Europe. You will work closely with internal departments to identify and prioritize communication needs in support of Nasdaq’s European employees and operations.
You will report to the Global Head of Enterprise & Internal Communications based in the US. The right candidate will bring an entrepreneurial approach to the role, must have a passion for strategic communications, and be a natural, collaborative partner to the team.
Responsibilities will include:
Executive Communications: support drafting executive internal communications including strategic memos and announcements; conduct research and analysis to draft more complex internal communication materials (e.g., scripts/speeches for management and executives) and local Town Hall-style events.
Issues Management: communications support concerning crisis/issues management, as needed
Company Town Halls: support the production of recurring internal employee town halls on a global, regional, and divisional level; work with key stakeholders to prepare agendas, scripts, and other production-related logistics
Intranet Channel Management: write content/articles for Nasdaq’s intranet; channel management support including posting articles and leading internal processes to review, approve and distribute content
Newsletters: support preparing recurring internal newsletters
Your Qualifications & Experience
4+ years of work experience, preferably in in-house internal or corporate communications roles
Prepared to be available outside of office hours at certain times including travel
Ability to handle stressful situations during limited periods
Experience producing in-house corporate events (virtual, hybrid, in-person)
Proficiency in English
Strong writing skills producing company-wide memos and other written communication
Nice to have qualifications
Proficiency in Swedish
Experience with Zoom Webinar and SocialChorus systems
