Systemair has a history of solid growth and has continuously expanded its business through organic investments and M&A. To support continued profitable growth, the Group is now looking to strengthen its corporate development function. The function is responsible for strategic outlooks, market- and business intelligence, M&A, company integration and organic business development initiatives such as growing the service business as well as establishing common processes and procedures for strategic pricing. Becoming more data driven in decision making about future growth opportunities is a key enabler in assuring efficient capital allocation and a proactive growth agenda. To support us in this journey we are now looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our team.

About The Job

The Corporate Development Analyst will be a member of the Corporate Development team at Systemair Group and perform varying types of analysis work to create transparency in market trends and development, performance of organic growth initiatives as well as performance of companies of interest to acquire.


Your responsibilities among others include:


• Market intelligence

• Gather, structure, analyze and present recommendations based on market intelligence related to the HVAC industry
• Build surveys and analyze the competitive landscape for selected products and markets


• Business intelligence and development

• Monitor, analyze and make price adjustment recommendations based on sales and margin development in close cooperation with Product Management
• Analysis of impact of cost and price adjustments in collaboration with Product Management and with feedback from markets
• Support Product Management with data gathering and reporting to relevant market intelligence companies
• Together with our Group Pricing Manager work to further enhance the way we work with strategic pricing, and administrate price updates in our ERP system


• M&A

• Perform desktop research in leads screening activities
• Conduct financial analysis of acquisition candidates
• Perform financial valuation of acquisition candidates
• Streamline the way we follow up the performance of acquired companies vs the transaction business case

As we work with implementing change in an international setting, stakeholder management, leading change and international travel will be part of the job where you will interact with many stakeholders both within and outside the company.

The location for this position is flexible throughout Europe, but preferably close to one of our Systemair offices. You will report to the Vice President Corporate Development and Head of M&A based in Sweden.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant degree and preferably 1-3 years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, business controlling or similar in a corporate environment.

A higher education (BSc, MSc or similar) in business administration or engineering is preferred and you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Having worked with strategic pricing is a plus, as is experience from working in Infor M3 ERP system. You are an advanced Excel user, and your English is excellent both verbally and in writing. While being an analyst, your ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on your analysis are as important as the analysis itself.
