As a corporate development associate, you will be supporting various projects related to company growth, company strategy, and fundraising. You will work closely with and report to the COO.

Job description:
- Develop a systematic approach to gathering and updating market & competitive intelligence to provide recommendations on strategic decisions and help evaluate business opportunities
- Help in the preparation of materials for our existing and potential new investors
- Play a significant role in fundraising preparations including due diligence, financial analysis & business case modeling, and project management
- Support in strategic corporate projects and opportunities (new market entries, strategic partnerships, operational efficiency etc.)
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc presentations and reporting packages for senior management and board to drive intelligent, strategic, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, private equity, or technology-focused corporate strategy or development function
- Experience with valuation and modeling
- Multi-tasker who works effectively under time constraints in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Independent thinker who thinks strategically and creatively and takes ownership of projects
- Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis, and translate findings to clear, concise, and actionable recommendations across a growing organization
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including logically structuring and delivering presentations
- Project management skills including managing various stakeholders
- True team player who works collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- An ambitious person with a strong drive, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn new things
- A team player with good social skills but must at the same time also be comfortable working independently
- A person who is not afraid of taking on new challenges
- Ability to lead projects and coordination between different departments and stakeholders
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with solid strategic thinking
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A genuine interest in business and corporate development
- Proven financial modeling skills
- A higher degree in Business or Finance with at least 2 years professional experience
- Preferably a background within investment banking, management consulting or transaction services
