Young and High Performing Candidates to Corporate Development - Purchasing ORKLA Orkla's top management has newly initiated a strategic sourcing program to realize inter-company synergies within the group by sharing best practice and exploiting economies of scale.As part of the LEAP (Leading Edge Approach to Purchasing) program, a central category organization has recently been established.In this development Orkla needs to strengthen the corporate purchasing crew.Your home base could be Eslöv or Oslo.For the right candidate this position can mean great promises for the future.The position will demand a lot of efforts from your side and pay off by offering large possibilities to make an impact on Orklas purchasing activities and overall future performance. You will work with strategic sourcing within a category (examples of categories are: dairy products, grain based products, transportation & warehousing, paper-based packaging, media etc.) across all companies in Orkla ASA.You will assist and work together with the Category Manager to execute the strategic sourcing of the purchasing spends in the sourcing groups. Main tasks: . Perform analysis to identify potential cross-company synergies and establish ambitious savings targets . Work with cross-company project teams .Assist in defining sourcing strategies . Develop and publish requests for proposals and prepare and carry out negotiations with suppliers Your qualifications: You have a minimum of four years of higher education, preferably a Master's degree.We like you to have 1-3 years of work experience from management consulting or business analyst positions in large corporations.We also welcome newly graduates with high potential and strong academic records. As a person you are ambitious and you have strong analytical and problem solving skills.You are always able to keep a business-oriented view on things and you are highly motivated and positive to change.You have the will and the personality of a potential project manager.You are structured and organized with good people skills. The position requires extensive travelling, up to 100 days per year, and you see this as a possibility rather than an obstacle.Your English skills are excellent and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office applications.
