An International Investment Bank, specializing in complex projects is seeking to add a highly motivated and mature M&A Analyst to join its team.



Your responsibilities:


You will provide support to the M&A team and will interface across the whole business in the execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships.
You will be expected to play a significant role across the full cycle of a transaction; including market research, strategic fit analysis, valuation, due diligence, risk assessment, managing acquisition/divestiture processes and deal execution.
You will interact with the most senior of the company’s executives and will report directly to the Director of Corporate Development.
Research and analyze markets, screen potential acquisition targets, perform financial analysis and modeling and coordinate due diligence
Executing end-to-end M&A and JV transactions
Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
Coordinate project deliverables and timetable with other advisers
Interact with target companies, owners, financial intermediaries and external consultants through the transaction process
Work cross functionally with various corporate functions, such as Legal, Accounting, and Tax through transaction process




Your background:


Educated to a degree at a leading University (finance or economics seen as a plus)
1-3 years of experience in an investment bank in London or in International context (bulge bracket preferred) or leading corporate finance boutique
Knowledge of accounting principles, including financial statement preparation and business combinations
Demonstrated success and experience performing company and industry research
Ability to interact confidently with senior executives, business owners and financial intermediaries
Excellent analytical skills, including demonstrated knowledge of various valuation techniques and practices
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong project management skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Bloomberg proficiency an asset
International and regional experience a plus
CA or CFA designation seen as a plus
Fluency in Swedish or Danish/Norwegian plus English is a must additional languages is beneficial
