Corporate Finance Specialist

Arbetsbeskrivning

To Sandvik Group Treasury we’re looking for a detailed, investigative and collaborative Corporate Finance Specialist – a professional who’s eager to broaden the competence in a global treasury setting. Joining our exciting world, you interact with a large international network and contribute to our future development as an important speaking partner and advisor.
About us
Sandvik Group Treasury, included in the Sandvik Group Finance organization, is overall responsible for supporting our global business in managing all types of financial exposures and transactions. As part of this, our Corporate Finance function handles external funding, subsidiaries’ financing and capital structure issues, and we support our business areas and divisions in both M&As and divestment projects.
Your mission
Your main responsibilities are working with our Group Funding Strategy – where you analyze and manage our debt portfolio and advise on how to optimize the capital structure – and financing of our group companies. This includes the management of the intragroup dividend process. Another key in your job is to share your expertise as you advise and instruct in all treasury matters connected to M&As and divestment projects. You also drive and participate in both ad hoc and strategic treasury related projects.
Naturally, you analyze, evaluate and structure large amounts of data from both internal and external sources, and you establish a deep understanding of necessary actions and key success factors for our operations. Although equally important is the way you offer your partnership and form reliable collaborations with our many stakeholders.
You report to the Head of Corporate Finance. We have flexible working conditions, while the main location for this job is our group headquarters in central Stockholm. Some international travel is included in your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for a business-oriented, highly analytical and self-driven person who’s both experienced and well equipped to work in an ever-changing environment spread across cultural and geographical borders. You have a bachelor’s degree or higher within Business, Finance or similar, and you combine this with experience from working in the field. Your previous career experiences include managing financial statement analysis, quantitative analytics and financial risk modelling. In addition, you have broad knowledge of risk management, financial instruments and capital markets.
You’re an advanced user of Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and you also have experience of systems for group financial reporting and financial market data. Acting in a global business headquartered in Sweden, you need to communicate and present information fluently in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
As a person, you work in proactive and organized ways, and you process data, manage deep analyses and prepare fact-based material with ease. You drive improvements and challenge us, and you also enjoy taking part in many simultaneous projects where your networking approach and social ability comes in handy. By giving advice and sharing your subject matter knowledge, you help us set the scene for a successful future within our treasury operations.
Our culture
Our role is clear – through every action, every day, we make the shift and advance the world through engineering. We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results. Add fair and rewarding benefits, as well as many different career options.
