Your assignment:

In the role as Corporate Legal Counsel for Kjell Group you will have a significant impact on our business success by providing wide range of advice and support in all legal matters connected to the whole organization.  In your role you will:


• Work closely with the senior management for the group to provide legal advice relating strategic topics like M&A, business partnerships and agreements, new markets etc
• Conduct research on different laws and regulations in the relevant markets to always stay up to date with the latest regulations and requirements
• Draft and implement governance policies and structures
• Review as well as prepare legal documents as required
• Create and negotiate general corporate contracts
• Work with intellectual property and trademark
• Work to ensure GDPR compliance for Kjell Group
• Work widely with different departments across Kjell Group to understand the different topics in need of support
• Advice on company structure and other general corporate matters
• Provide legal knowledge to support the execution of M&A
• In case of need, handle legal disputes
• Work with collective bargaining agreements
• Manage company legal risks

Your background:

We believe you have 5-7 years of experience from similar role in a cooperate or have developed the knowledge and skills working with wide range of matters in a law firm with diverse corporate clients. You have Swedish law degree. In your career you have gained very good skills in intellectual property and trademark as well as corporate contracts and negotiations. You have also high interest and knowledge in work with GDPR. Further, you have proven experience being the senior advisor and have been working in a forward-thinking, international organization.

As a person we believe you have high development focus, are a curious problem solver with analytical mind. You have high sense of quality and details and have energy to make things happen. You can both operate on strategic and operational level, and you enjoy it. You are a natural leader with very good communication skills and knowledge in both Swedish and English. And of course, you believe and live according to our Kjell values.

You will report to Chief Financial Officer for Kjell Group. Your base is our offices in Malmö but since we are a future oriented organization we apply a hybrid working model with flexibility in workplace. You can expect app 20-30 days of travel per year.
