About the company

The Australian Embassy in Stockholm is responsible for advancing Australia's bilateral interests with Sweden, Finland, Latvia and Estonia, and for providing Australians resident in or visiting these countries with consular and passport services.

Your role

The position, as a Corporate Service Officer, is a mixed duties position, which provides general administrative support, undertakes a range of corporate services, including financial duties (and when necessary) managing travel arrangements. In consultation with the Head of Mission, this position also assists with managing the Embassy’s corporate reform agenda.



Main tasks and responsibilities

- Process accounts for payment in SAP
- Prepare routine financial reports and administer VAT returns on a quarterly basis
- Calculate and process staff conditions of service entitlements, including leave fares, eeducation fees and medical claims
- In consultation with London Hub, administer debts advances and create Vendor and Customer accounts as required
- Prepare monthly salaries for locally employed staff
- Train staff in use of financial systems, including credit card acquittal system, payment systems and time management systems
- When necessary you will arrange domestic and international travel arrangements for the staff at the Australian Embassy




When: As soon as possible, you have at maximum two months notice

Location: Stockholm, city center

Form of employment: Full time, 37,5 h/week. This is a consultant employment for at least 12 months. This means that your employment will be with Clevry but your workplace is at the the Australian Embassy in Stockholm.

Your qualifications

As an applicant you have:

- A degree in economics
- 1-3 years experience in a related ecnomic-position
- Experience in financial processing
- Proficiency in SAP preferred or other financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office software applications
- Sound written and oral communication skills and have excellent Swedish and English language skills


In addition to the above we hope that you have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You have organisational skills and an ability to work both independently and as a team member. You can also handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. On top of this you have capacity to adapt to and implement change, demonstrating innovative approaches, courage and resilience.
