Octapharma är Nordens enda tillverkare av plasmabaserade läkemedel. Vi har vårt ursprung i det svenska läkemedelsföretaget Kabi med mer än 60 års erfarenhet av forskning, tillverkning och försäljning av plasmabaserade och genteknologiskt framställda proteinläkemedel. Octapharma Corporate Trainee Program

The Octapharma Corporate Trainee Program is designed to quickly promote talented students to key positions to support this growth.
What to expect
The chosen candidates will join a team of international trainees from around the world on an exciting 18-month challenge. During this period, you will have a unique opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge to practical use in a rewarding educational program that gives you exposure to all relevant parts of our company. Because the program is global in scope, parts of the training will be held at our subsidiaries or production facilities abroad. However, the selected trainees will mainly be based at our local head offices.
From day one, we offer a permanent position and a unique opportunity for personal growth and development as well as a way to build your network within the group. Our aim with the trainee program is to promote you to a management position so that you can play a key role in the future development of our company – either locally or abroad. To support you along the way, you will be assigned a mentor from our team of managers.
The program is divided into two focus areas: Production and Engineering, and Finance and Marketing. The program start is planned to end of September 2014.
Production and Engineering
Starting with a general introduction to our company, this program offers in-depth training and hands-on experience in all aspects of protein-based pharmaceutical production. In this program, you will work at our production-related departments such as Operational Support, Biopharmaceuticals, Technical Unit and the Quality Unit.
Finance and Marketing
In this program, you will also receive a general introduction of our company, including an overview of our production facilities and methods. However, the main focus here will be in-depth training in areas such as Finance, Human Resources, IT and Sales and Marketing.

Trainee Day at Octapharma: In August 2014, Octapharma will assess and select the final candidates. Trainee Day will be an event held at one of our local head offices, to which you may have to travel internationally. This will provide you with an opportunity to get to know us better and meet with former Octapharma trainees who are now key individuals in our company. Trainee Day is part of Octapharma´s structured assessment procedure where you will be able to present yourself and go through important steps in our selection process, including interviews and case presentations. You will also be asked to submit to cognitive testing as part of this recruitment. Following completion of Trainee Day, the selection process will require a further two weeks before the chosen successful candidates are announced.

The candidates
We are looking for talented individuals who have recently graduated from university and who have the capacity, drive and confidence to be potential future leaders in Octapharma. The ideal candidate should be open to new experiences, flexible enough to cope with a changing work environment and yet structured enough to work independently. Good networking skills and a positive attitude will help you to succeed throughout the many exciting challenges that come with this program.
Candidates for the Finance and Marketing Program should either have a Degree of Bachelor of Science (B Sc) or Master of Science (M Sc) in Business Administration and Economics with a major in finance, marketing, accounting, logistics or a similar discipline. Candidates for the Production and Engineering Program should have a Degree of Master of Science (M Sc) in Engineering with a major in chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, mechanics or an equivalent subject. Since the program is international, you need advanced language skills: fluency in English as well as the local language: French, German or Swedish. A third language is also required: French, German or Russian.
