As a Costing Manager, you are a central part of our ability to produce winning tenders and develop Alstom's Nordic business. You are a key person in our ability to produce competitive offers. To perform the work, you need to be a good communicator and have social skills.
You will report directly to our Sales Director.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of costing in bids related to maintenance and modernization of railway vehicles. You will work in the tools MACO and Ody.C and your primary focus will be tenders on the Nordic market.
You will, based on the customer's specified needs, define which information is required in order to - with reasonable certainty - estimate the assignment's resource needs. With the support of our organization you will collect and compile this information and, if necessary, challenge and perform sensitivity analyzes and continuously present the work and results in a transparent way according to Alstom's tender process. Finally, you will ensure that the customer's price sheets are filled in correctly.

Technical Knowledge / Experience
Master of Science in Engineering and / or Master of Business Administration. Alternatively, other corresponding background.
Good knowledge of economics and operations analysis
Experience from the railway industry. Extra merit with experience from maintenance / modernization of railway vehicles.
Advanced user of Excel with good knowledge of the rest of the Office package.
Fluent English in speech and writing
The position is fixed term, covering a maternity leave for 1 year.
