We invite you to join our team! Now we are looking for a Coupler & Gangway System Engineer! Based: Vasteras/Sweden The successful candidate will be overall responsible for ensuring that the two systems fulfill all requirements. As responsible for this function, you would be specifying the system requirements and document the system solutions, while supporting Supply Management with all technical documentation necessary for a successful sourcing of the system and conduct technical evaluation of supplier bids. Also the candidate will be ensuring that technical risks of the system are identified and strategies for mitigation of the risks are developed.Finally leading a successful integration (electrical, functional and physical) of the system and also, ensuring system verification with supplier and conduct type tests with customer. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Physics Engineering, and have good solid work experience and in depth knowledge of system function, ideally within the railway or similar industry. Other desired experience could be: o General systems engineering knowledge o Experience from international projects o Vehicle knowledge o Knowledge of product development In addition, since you will be working in an international environment, strong communication skills are required.Candidates should be able to communicate fluent in English, as well as in one of the Scandinavian languages. As your contacts will be external as well as internal, you will be strong in communicating and you will have a structured and independent work approach.
