Counsel

We are now looking for a counsel to join our legal department in Sweden with primary objective to draft, negotiate and review high value commercial IT contracts on behalf of the company and play an advisory role to the business in helping them mitigate legal and commercial risks in the contracts. The position is placed in Stockholm, Sweden. Travel within Europe can be expected.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: 
- Drafting Legal contracts
- Reviewing contract documents
- Negotiating contracts with the clients
- Providing advisory support to internal business team
- Facilitating statutory compliance regarding contractual terms
- Advising senior management regarding key legal issues relating to client contracts
- Supporting the business teams during the bid process and proposal documentation and submission.
- Providing inputs to the business teams regarding risk assessment and mitigation measures.
- Ensuring the completion of legal documentation and a proper archival process.
- Performing other advisory roles associated with the handling of complex legal issues as may be required from time to time.
