We are currently seeking an experienced Country Corporate Control Manager at Veoneer in Vårgårda. The position requires the ability to influence key decision makers and to think long-term to drive decisions that impact the business. You will lead the finance team to ensure operational excellence, and drive innovation.
You will report to Regional Corporate Control Director (EU Finance Director) and the position is based at the headquarters in Vårgårda.
Job description:
• Be a business partner to local management & functions as the country CFO and manage SGA controlling
• Ensure statutory & US-GAAP reporting, tax accounting, SOX controls as well as cash flow management
• Lead the finance team to ensure operational excellence and drive innovation

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this position, we believe you have strong analytical and strategic skills, with ability to logically solve problems. You need to be highly communicative and be able to influence people on all levels in the organization. This position requires a degree in Finance and minimum 7 years of experience in the area of Finance and Controlling, preferably in a leading role.
You are fluent in English, written as well as spoken, and other language skills are creditable.
You have experience of managing and/ or coordinating multiple locations in multiple countries with a strategic and operative mindset.
The position requires a high level of interest to focus on analytics, drive improvements along with being well structured and show attention to details when required. You are flexible and used to delivering high quality performance within given deadlines. and you have documented leadership skills. You have good leadership skills, and you are a manager who can delegate responsibility to his employees.
This position needs experience from a larger ERP system, and high skills in Excel. Furthermore, you are good at looking behind the numbers and is successful tracking down possible risks/ opportunities. You have strong communication and networking skills and we believe you drive collaboration and engage & inspire others very well.
