1.Logistics Operation
· Lead Operations team in order to keep an overview of the actual status of the logistics operation
· Responsible for the overseeing inbound process from capacity planning to delivery in order to ensure an efficient process.
· Execute crisis management in order to solve complex operational issues in an optimum way and time frame
· Organize recurring meetings with Customers in order to manage, evaluate and improve cooperation and share information on issues and actions taken, projects and developments
· Liaise with Customers in case of escalation in order to meet customer requirements regarding delivery of goods
· Lead peak season preparation based on sales forecasts in order to ensure an optimum (cost)efficient logistics operation and customer satisfaction during peak season
· Act as a contact for customers in order to answer escalated (3rd line) questions regarding the logistics operation
· Identify risks and Risk management in terms of security and insurance (cost benefit analysis between insurance and loss)
2. Continuous Improvement
•Present and propose business cases and ROI reports to Customer in order to inform them regarding improvement possibilities and get approval for projects
· Actively involved in projects in case of urgency (delay, operation damage etc.) in order to amend to the agreed project targets
· Control project planning and budget in order to ensure that projects are finished within the agreed timeframe and budget
· Report progress to customer in order to inform management team regarding project status
•Act as a contact for customer in order to answer urgent/escalated questions regarding pending project
•Analyze KPI reports, performance failures and incidents in order to determine improvement possibilities for all customers
3.Procurement and 3PL management
•Develop and maintain relationships with current 3PL’s in order to keep open communication which enables faster issue identification and problem solving.
•Evaluate 3PL (TPL – Warehouse) & Couriers in order to measure performance against contract, take corrective actions where necessary
•Work together with the procurement team in the RFQ process in order to ensure land appropriate logistic solutions.
•Work together with the procurement team in the renewal of contracts in order to ensure land appropriate logistics solutions
•Analyze weekly KPI reports and rolling forecast in order to monitor the operational performance of logistics service providers (LSP)
•Lead and initiate recurring meetings and/or conference calls with logistics service providers in order to evaluate KPI reports
4.Stakeholder Management
· Develop and maintain Relationships with internal and external customers in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.
· Maintain and develop relations with public authority such as customs, fiscal police, police in order to ensure compliance as well as receive help for incident management
· Maintaining contact with potential suppliers for the purpose of future partnerships
5.Human Resource Management
· Organize recurring team meetings and meetings with individual team members in order to create an optimum working environment within the department
· Execute general HR responsibilities such as job interviews, performance evaluation, follow up on sickness, approval of leave.
