Your mission is to establish and develop Separett Gmbh including logistical functions for the German market. The Separett brand and Separett products are already present in Germany via a third party.
The success of Separett in Germany will be based on your extensive knowledge of the market and business development and on your commitment to identify business opportunities locally and for Separett AB and other subsidiaries in the world.
The Role
The Country Manager has overall responsibility for the German company from the start including both management and development of processes for sales, marketing, communication, purchasing, budgeting, and staff. Together with Separett AB you are responsible for sales, implementation of the brand strategy and for long-term business planning. Another important part is to ensure that the efforts required for the establishment in Germany follow national rules, legislation, and cultural guidelines. Country Managers report to Deputy Managing Director, expansion manager of Separett.
Expectations:
- Create and implement strategies for growth and realize these through concrete and action-oriented sales work.
- Develop and evaluate existing business relationships with the most important retailers and the DIY market in Germany.
- Continuously help develop and evaluate new distribution channels and both existing and new products for the Separett range.
- Develop and lead your subordinates with focus on responsibility, participation, clarity, and honesty.
- In the long term be closely involved in the continued expansion of Separett in Europe.
- Ensure the administrative flow and knowledge of, for example, business- and IT-systems.
Experience
We expect that you previously have had or currently have a regional/business area responsibility within a similar business/group. In these roles, you have been responsible for both strategic and operational decisions and have had P&L responsibility for over 2 M EUR.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in international business, quality evaluations, agreements and negotiations. Relevant seasonal business experience from business areas such as DIY, HVAC, hardware, or garden is considered an important merit.

Furthermore, you have good financial understanding and are used to reading and analysing income statements and balance sheets.
To apply to this role, you must live in Germany and be well acquainted with the German business culture. The location for Separett Gmbh will be within the Region of Kassel - Hanover - Berlin - Leipzig. We expect the applicant to be close to fluent in both written and spoken English.
