The Verisure Information Security team is currently seeking a talented, innovative and passionate Country Security Support role to work within our Regional Security Teams - supporting our growing operations on a group-wide basis. Reporting to the Regional InfoSec lead, this position will be a key member of the Information Security team with a critical responsibility to develop our Global InfoSec Offering.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a global organisation, you will be expected to successfully support your team, and stakeholders, with the means to ensure that Information security is properly implemented and managed throughout the region.
Your actions will be vital in enabling secure business by providing the right advice, at the right time across a broad area of Information Security - enabling high-quality decisions to be made.
Main Responsibilities:
* Working with the Group Security Team, the Country Security Support position is responsible for providing security support and assurance for countries – as directed by the Regional InfoSec lead.
* Acting as a link between a countries management teams you will be responsible for translating regionally set targets, across 8 Key metrics, into an actionable roadmap - supported through the Group Security strategic objective of ‘Doing the Basics’.
* The Country Security Support position will work closely with the Regional InfoSec team, Security Architecture & Engineering and the Regional IT Ops functions to assist in implementing projects and achieving country-specific security targets.
* The Country Security Support position will need to develop a strong rapport with key stakeholders within their allocated countries. Communicating issues, requirements and regional variance requirements to the Regional Head of InfoSec – in order to prioritise and resource actions.
* Directed by the Regional InfoSec Lead, this role will also be responsible for any Security integration requirements within the region.
* Act as a local Security POC for Country and Regional team incidents and requests - working with all InfoSec Group functions to remediate and solve.
* Communication & Influencing; cooperate with key stakeholders and use methods and facilities in the area of security-architecture to influence their decision making.
What you bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong security professional with a passion for problem solving, alongside a demonstrable technical track record in the consumer product and services sector.
Alongside this, you will need to have significant personal drive and an analytical mindset; with the ability to proactively anticipate risks and creatively resolve bottlenecks.
You can expect to travel up to 20% of the time within Europe in order to connect with our wider European teams, supporting our ethos of strong stakeholder collaboration and ensuring that Security continues to be embedded into our business, ultimately protecting our customer’s homes and families.
Required Experience:
* An ability to take strategic and tactical direction and develop it into operational roadmaps and guidelines - enabling business units to remain compliant within an enterprise-level security framework.
* CISSP and/or CISSM (or equivalent) certified
* Experience working within a Global multi-cultural organization; under a ‘matrix management’ structure
* Sound knowledge of Cyber Security and IT Operations and Development
* Integrity and a track-record of handling confidential information
* Highly collaborative and with experience of bringing people together to deliver joined-up and coordinated results
* Experienced in the practical implementation of clearly defined security requirements – whilst developing Regional level assurance processes
* Experience of project management to implement, drive and control project delivery
* First-rate presentation and facilitation skills
* Excellent communicator with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands
* Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint
* Written and Spoken Fluency in English
Desired Experience:
* Experience with Jira, Confluence and AHA Project Management Tools
* Additional language proficiency (Spanish, Swedish)
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to critically assess the process
* Experience of working under a transformational change programme
* Knowledge of technological trends and developments in information security assurance and risk management
