Job description
As Courses Administrator you support Hyper Islands online courses team in their mission to provide transformative learning experiences for our course participants. You are a planner, a doer, a collaborator, a clear communicator, a team player, and above all: an organizer. You live and breathe service, constantly on the lookout for the most effective and fun way to do things and to be of service to the team you collaborate with.
This role is a 50% time general fixed-term employment from August 2021 until January 2022, with a chance of increasing the hours during fall to match the growing demand for on-site courses.
Responsibilities & tasks
- Ensure that the course's administration is conducted in a streamlined fashion, questioning every step along the way, and finding ways to make our work more fun.
- Support students with their logistics inquiries; creating proof of completion, payment receipts, and any other post-sales activities.
- Coordinate participant lists and assist with course & participant management.
- Perform follow-up surveys and create course certificates.
- Assisting the Facilities Manager with reception duties when possible.
- Managing all hospitality-related tasks for onsite courses such as catering, setting up and preparing the studio, welcoming course participants & setting up for lunch, and keeping things nice and tidy.
Experience & competence
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English & Swedish.
- Previous work experience within the service industry, hospitality, or administration.
- A natural affinity for communication, team building and experience-based learning.

Terms
You will report to the Director of Support Services and join the Support Services team consisting of 9 other team members.
