Craft Manager - Game Design

Are you passionate about growing and developing game creators? Do you want to work with awesome Game Designers and at the same time be part of a company that creates immersive experiences for all girls around the globe? Read on!

We are now looking for a Craft Manager that will guide our Game Designers in their development. You support each individual in their professional growth while working towards business goals and vision. This is a role that’s quite new to us, so we expect that you enjoy taking on a challenge and drive the work on continuous improvement.

As a Craft Manager at Star Stable…

- You support individuals in their professional growth and towards their development objectives by employing coaching, mentoring, and other mechanisms as needed.
- You work to build a strong and healthy craft by fostering trust and belonging.
- You understand others’ motivations and needs and keep providing a motivational environment where creators are enabled to do their best work.
- You’re hands-on talent planning, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and compensation.
- You evaluate and improve workflows and processes to help develop the craft’s performance, together with others in the organization.
- You build and sustain long-term relationships in the organization.


To thrive in this role, we believe that…

- You have significant people management experience with strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- You come from a background in game design.
- You have an understanding of change management principles and how to apply them.
- You are effective in one-to-one and one-to-many interaction with the ability to use communication to make a strategy come alive.
- You are hands-on experience leading people through change in a continuous participatory way.
