The Asset Creation Team - let’s introduce ourselves
The Asset Creation team is responsible for planning, purchasing, and producing our creative assets used in global campaigns and for the web. Our team consists of Art Buyers, Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Digital Content Lead. 

Willingness to continually learn, having an open mind, and being able to align with our shared objectives are vital. You will collaborate with various teams to execute on briefs and ensure top-quality production. The production of the creative assets is always a team effort. Social skills and a collaborative mindset are a must.

Creative Copywriter – this is what you’ll do
Originate and shape creative copy concepts and produce new content, covering car products, brand campaigns, and online sales. You will ensure ongoing scalability, tonal coherence, and legal consistency of copy across all materials produced. 

You're highly skilled in interpreting creative direction and technical information and how to turn them into persuasive copy concepts. 

You collaborate closely with Creative Directors and Art Directors in developing a variety of concepts and ideas, as well as being able to produce all forms of copy required for a variety of media, including social, print, video, and online. Collaboration is key. Internally across multiple departments within Volvo and externally with agencies, design studios, and production companies. Always with an effort to create unique campaigns, assets, and experiences with a target audience in mind.

We’re looking for you!
You are an experienced copywriter with a proven background in marketing for paid and direct channels. We're after a data-driven, eagle-eyed creative who writes copy that scales easily across different markets. You're highly creative, adaptable, and can work in a cross-functional setting with multiple teams. 
Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to think conceptually are necessary. Based on insights, you are able to set the initial concept direction and is used to taking and giving feedback on creative work. 

You've been working with various global brands, understanding the cultural differences and challenges. While creativity and a collaborative mindset are critical, planning and organization skills are also needed. Volvo Cars is a global company, and all your work will be in English.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing 
•    You have professional experience as a copywriter with a demonstrable background in building concepts and always-on content at scale for multiple markets. 
•    Ideally, you have at least five years of working experience in an ad agency, design agency, or similar role with a client
•    Extremely strong communication skills. Excellent writing and editing skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
•    Experience working with various global brands, understanding cultural differences and challenges 
•    Experience building stories and presentations to pitch your ideas
•    Develops and maintains the brand voice and tone
•    Uses data-driven marketing to guide all copy decisions
•    Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and meets tight deadlines
•    Proof of previous work and portfolio
