What you’ll do:
•    Key stakeholder for the strategic and creative process towards our agency partner, as well as for paid and direct teams; determine what’s important to analyse and how to best optimise
•    Take responsibility for overall content marketing and content strategy; ensure we have the right content in the right place
•    Take responsibility for optimisation and performance from a content perspective; analyse and measure content and ad performance based on quality metrics
•    Initiate, iterate and drive content hypotheses, element testing and A/B/C testing etc., together with agency channel owners and cluster leads within the EMEA HUB
•    Set a creative optimisation and content strategy for DCO (Google Studio) to keep cost efficiency across markets
•    Leverage an online-first approach, bridging between paid, direct and content from an optimisation and performance perspective to deliver improvements across markets
•    Work closely not only with the EMEA markets and regional marketing team, but also the central media and content team; share and push content optimisation approaches and insights/learnings
•    Lead the creative review forum for content, paid and direct teams; ensure insights and content changes are tracked and documented

Location
EMEA operates from Volvo Cars headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is therefore the preferred location for the ideal candidate. Alternative locations in Sweden and Europe can be discussed.

Do you fit the profile?
You’re well experienced within the paid media and digital landscape and very familiar with content and creative performance and optimisation methods, utilising a performance marketing approach and reviewing content and creative from a data perspective. You have previous experience from an international company, within a region and/or extensive digital agency experience, with a key focus on digital content. You have experience from a variety of different roles within media, in-depth knowledge about paid activation and performance marketing approaches, and have always worked closely with content as a natural part of the digital journey. 

You also have great knowledge of the below areas:
•    Creativity – you are a person with endless ideas!
•    Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Premier and InDesign
•    Media background with an in-depth understanding of analysing content from a data perspective 
•    Well experienced in platforms for reviewing content, such as Google studio, GDN, Social Studio, DV360, GMP, Google Campaign Manager, IAS, FB 
•    Experience working with content strategy
•    Experience with processing data, easily communicating the message to action for the team and sharing with the greater organisation
•    Digital marketing, preferably performance marketing with an always-on approach
•    Defining processes and providing frameworks to support teams and level up their ways of working
•    Confident communicator who’s comfortable publicly presenting content insights and perspective around optimisations and actions
•    Initiating and scaling a testing framework around content and content strategies 
•    A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent relevant areas 
•    Fluency in English – it will be your daily working language
