Creative Press officer

Telavox is recruiting a Press Officer with a wide network in Swedish media, who likes to build a network among finance and tech media in Europe. You will work proactively with getting Telavox message out there and handle all matters related to the press This is an exciting opportunity for an individual that has lots of energy, passion, and enthusiasm about communication and networking.

What you'll be busy with

At Telavox, you will work both with strategic and hands-on communication. The role includes preparing, writing and distributing press releases. Liaising with journalists and other media contacts as well as keeping record of distribution lists and monitoring and analyzing media coverage of Telavox and the industry. Also, you should support senior management in press issues and interviews with the organisation’s spokespeople. You will also work with content in social media, writing articles and newsletters in Swedish as well as in English.

You enjoy writing and can easily find the right tone of voice for different target groups. The right person thrives in a fast pace environment, is analytical and remains cold, calm and collected in a crisis. The Press Officer will be part of Telavox corporate Marketing & Communications team together with other professionals in external and internal communications.

What makes you awesome

Education in journalism, media, marketing or other relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as journalist or press officer
Excellent writing and speaking skills in Swedish and English
Self-starter, good networker
Knowledge of additional languages is a merit
