Credit Analyst

We are currently looking for a Credit Analyst to perform credit and risk analysis on current and potential customers on behalf of our clients Financial Services section.

The Credit Analyst will ensure that all appropriate credit policies, processes, systems, targets and strategies are followed, as dictated by management. This position works closely and communicates clearly with the sales teams and key back-office operations teams such as collections and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Write credit reviews complete with supporting documentation and make credit recommendations

- Manage the queue of request & inbox for the Nordic region. Process transactions in accordance with SLA?s under time constraints
- Interface with customers to resolve credit related issues, including on-site visits as appropriate.
- Fully assess the risk of transactions submitted in line with the Group credit policy
- Write up proposals in the appropriate format, emphasising the risks and mitigants of the proposal and demonstrating reasoned logic for the justification.
- Undertake duties designated by the Credit Risk Sr. Manager, including the compilation of reports and information for customers and other departments and working with Management to refine credit policies and procedures.

Hiring Profile:

Essential

- 2+ years experience in credit underwriting
- Developed financial and credit analysis skills
- Ability to gather, monitor & document data
- Knowledge of credit principles, practices and law
- Aility to work methodically
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Highly numerate
- Strong PC skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge in the English language

Desirable:

- University degree in Business Administration, or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in the Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish)
- Strong Integrity in terms of assuming full responsibility of given tasks, and solid decision making
