Scania Finans AB is a company within Scania Financial Services (SFS) that offers financing and insurance solutions in seven markets in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Scania Finans has a credit portfolio of SEK 20 billion, the largest financing company within SFS. The company has about 100 employees, half of which are located at the head office in Södertälje.
Job Summary
As a Credit Analyst, you will work for the credit department and report to the Credit Manager. The credit department is responsible for the credit underwriting and credit risk management within SFA. Currently, the credit department consists of four credit analysts. The position is based at SFA’s head office in Södertälje, but we support workplace flexibility to maximise personal productivity and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to work in the daily credit underwriting process, making credit decisions for new and existing customers to SFA. The role of a Credit Analyst includes the following main tasks:
• Underwrite new credit applications and modify existing credit applications within delegated credit mandate.
• Analyse and present credit proposals for decisions by senior credit analysts and credit committees.
• Meet customers, Scania dealers and branch offices to keep up-to-date about customers and the transport business.
• Continuously contribute to the development of processes, systems and models that support the credit underwriting process.
Your profile:
To succeed in this position, we see that you are a structured person with an analytical mindset and strong numerical skills. You have strong personal integrity and well-developed interpersonal skills. Moreover, you have/are:
• University degree in business, economics or engineering or similar level of education
• Minimum of three years of working experience within the financial services sector.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of credit assessment and analysis of financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of the Office application suite, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Good knowledge in Power BI.
• Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
Knowledge of Banqsofts View suite is meritorious, as well as knowing other languages.
