We are looking for a committed new colleague who wants to develop and build analysis capacity together with us.
The position we offer
Group Credit Risk & Control is the credit risk and control function. Our main areas of responsibility are monitoring and control of credit risk, analysis and reporting, and development of credit risk models and frameworks.
You will be part of a team working with IRB model development and will be focusing on LGD and CCF. Credit risk modeling is a key focus area within the bank since emerging regulations increases the importance of efficient capital management with risk-sensitive models that enables intelligent business-selection.
This is a tactical role that will help to understand and extract data from a diversity of data sources from different units across the bank. You will work to understand the business-processes that generate the data and ensure that data are effectively applied within the risk models. This role will also be involved in data quality contributing to identification, assessment, documentation, and remediation of quality issues.
You will face challenges requiring not only technical competence but also a very good understanding of financial concepts.
The position will enable you to work closely with modeling and participate in important decisions. This will allow you to grow your competence within finance and analytics and expand your responsibilities and take on new challenges.
The position is located in Stockholm.
The qualifications you need
Mandatory skills:
- Knowledge of SQL, SAS or other programming languages.
- 1 - 4 years’ experience in Data Quality, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Problem solving (error detection, root cause analysis, error correction), conceptual, analytical, and decision making skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- English, both spoken and written, on a professional level.
Beneficial skills:
- Previous experience of Nordeas IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of process improvement and management.
- Knowledge of banking regulation.
- Knowledge of credit risk.
