Purpose of the role:

We are now looking for a Credit Risk Manager who will be responsible for shaping and leading the development of the credit risk area within LeasePlan. As a credit risk manager you will handling w wired variety of challenging and complex work specialized in the assessment of merchant related risk with primary focus on credit risk and underwriting strategies. You will also responsible for ensuring that LeasePlan is within the risk appetite, as well as continuously developing credit risk model and policies.

We are looking of a creative, smart and driven individual to lead our credit risk department.

The Credit Managers role also include building, driving and continuously improving the relationship with partners and stakeholders within LeasePlan and HQ as well as knowledge transfer. The Credit Manager role reports to the Risk Director. The role will in the long term include personnel responsibility. Therefore, we are searching for someone who believes she/he is ready for this type of responsibility.



Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The Credit Manager is responsible for (but not limited to):



* Preform credit assessment on new customers as well as review current ones.
* Assess and monitor the vendors information policy and standards requirements.
* Be the owner and driver of the Credit Committee.
* Development of the strategy and KPIs to successfully manage Credit risk appetite.
* Translate global policies and standards to match local procedures (when required)
* Organise & manage awareness sessions and workshops within the entity
* Monitoring/coordinating on credit risk incidents and taking appropriate action
* Monitoring/coordinating on credit reporting towards LPCorp.
* Miscellaneous tasks that RD delegates.



Knowledge/Skills:

Essential:

* University degree in a Business or Economics or equivalent knowledge thru work experience
* 4-5 years in car industry role preferably within Credit process
* Knowledge of the car market
