About this opportunity
Welcome to Credit Decision Solutions in the Nordea Finance Group Credit Risk Management team. We add value by improving our credit decision engines, through implementing new data sources, credit process optimization and portfolio monitoring and analysis. As a Credit Risk Model Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in migrating our credit decision engines to the Global Credit Decision Platform, increase the quality of our credit decisions and improve automated credit decision rates.
In Credit Decision Solutions within Nordea Finance we work with both corporate and retail customers, across all business lines: Car Finance, Retail Finance, Equipment Finance and Receivables Finance (Factoring). We are a small but effective team, and through working within Credit Decision Solutions you will get exposed to a wide range of Credit Risk related topics.
What you’ll be doing:
• Be the owner of automated credit decisions in Nordea Finance Sweden
• Explore opportunities to enhance the data we use for our automated credit decisions
• Collaborate closely with the Credit Risk Management teams in Nordea Finance, as well as key stakeholders in Business lines to streamline the customer journey and increase automation
• Explore opportunities with new data sources, internal and external, such as data from credit agencies, Nordea Rating Models and PSD2
• Find solutions to complex business challenges
• Be part of Credit & Risk Agile Release Train developing our Global Credit Decision Platform
You’ll join a team of independent, self-driven and very experienced Credit & Risk people. The role is based in Stockholm, Smålandsgatan.

Your experience and background:
• Should hold Bachelor or Masters degree. Candidates would ideally have experience with subjects such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Science, Data Science, IT or similar
• Should have strong understanding of credit process and IT systems
• Experience with processing data, statistical methods
•Understanding of and experience with Credit Risk
•Good logical, analytical and numerical skills
