Crew Controller

Crew Control is responsible for the published schedule for all flying crew within SAS Scandinavia. The planning process includes Resource Planning, Crew Optimization, Training Planning and Crew Control.

As a Crew Controller at SAS, you will:
•    To exercise Crew Control for SAS air traffic, which includes monitoring and implementation of all traffic decisions that may arise in the execution phase. 
•    Develop, propose and implement solutions to traffic and operational disruptions
•    Recovery from irregular situations
•    Commercial inquiries
•    Extra production/ ad hoc
•    Ensure correct service staffing
•    Ensure good feasibility

You will also ensure that traffic implementation is carried out within the framework of safety procedures and requirements for SAS operations decided by AM/NPH and relevant authorities. For example OM-A and FTL, current collective agreements, SAS commercial and operational strategy and SAS management policy. In addition, you will work on ensuring the best possible regularity, punctuality and cost effectiveness during daily operations, execution. Coordinate solutions, proposals and priorities together with other functions within OCC. 


To be successful, we believe you should have:

•    Several years of experience in a daily operations environment
•    3-year high school or equivalent
•    Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing
•    Very good knowledge of the Scandinavian languages, speech and writing.
•    Good computer skills. 

Other meritorious qualifications
•    Experience in an operational environment, SAS or other. 
•    Insight in SAS`s production apparatus and processes
•    Good knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements regarding SAS production
•    Knowledge in within government regulations, OM-A/FTL
•    Knowledge within CBA
