We are looking for the next Crew Manager to join our crewing team at Northern Offshore Services. Are you the one?

We are now looking for a driven Crew Manager to join our team to support our fleet expansion and growth agenda for the coming years. The Crew Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Crewing Operation of our fleet. The key part of the job is to secure that we have our vessels manned by qualified and competent crew to run a safe operation and provide excellent service to our clients. You will be heading up the crewing department which includes a team of dedicated Crew Coordinators to support you in all crew related matters. As Crew Manager you will have strong focus on developing and implementing crewing strategies and initiatives aligned with the business plan of the company.

YOUR TASKS
Develop a long-term strategy on who to attract, retain and develop the best crew in our segments.
Work actively with crew forecasting and together with your team handle a large number of recruitment of seafarers per year and secure a pool and temporary employees.
Effective crew planning and execution in compliance with safe manning requirements as well as client requirements.
Collaborate with crewing agencies to source crew for our vessels.
Liaising with unions and employer organisations on employment law matters.
Interpret and implement Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Responsible for inputs to crew budget, monthly review of crew costs and full year estimates as well as follow up on KPI’s.
Effectively manage a diverse crew pool, to ensure sustainable manning.
Dealing with operational crew matters such as optimised manning solutions, training, promotions, exits, motivational talks as well as optimisation of crew related processes.
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the Crewing department, Senior Captains, and our crew.
YOUR PROFILE
The ideal candidate is an experienced crewing professional or have solid maritime industry experience who are recognised by others by having an eye on strategy. You possess strong people and leadership skills with a passion to successfully lead, develop and empower those around you. You have the right combination of human touch, operational control and extensive planning skills. You are organised and focused on achieving long-term results. To succeed in this role, you are a true problem solver and find it motivating to find solutions to different issues that are not always planned. You are not afraid to make decisions and have the ability to succeed in motivating others. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise, and have a high work capacity. You are fluent in both a Scandinavian language and English.
You will report to Elin Kristensson, Managing Director, +46 761 80 80 72. Frequent travels to our vessels and subsidiaries will be an important part of your role. You will be included in the N-O-S duty schedule.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position will start as soon as possible. You will be based at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden or Kastrup, Denmark.
