We are seeking a dynamic CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist for our client inthe automotive industry, for an engaging full-time assignment starting on 15th December 2024, running through to 30th September 2025. Based in Gothenburg or offsite, this role is ideal for a self-driven professional passionate about optimizing customer journeys through marketing automation.
About the role:
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll work in a high-paced environment, managing both local and global send-outs. You’ll contribute as an expert to ongoing development projects while continually improving and maintaining the existing setup within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will report to the CRM Operations team lead and collaborate closely with other teams to optimize customer communication throughout various lifecycle stages.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing automation practices, focusing on setting up, managing, and optimizing customer journeys to ensure targeted and effective communication.
Collaborate with the CRM Commercial team to provide expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud for global projects, specifically supporting the “Order to Delivery” and “Ownership” phases.
Build and maintain marketing assets including emails, cloud pages, and other content in Marketing Cloud.
Oversee segmentation and send-outs for customer communications, ensuring precision and relevance.
Set up and manage trigger-based journeys, ensuring consistency and best practices across markets.
Test and optimize existing journeys regularly, working with data and enhancing testing capabilities to meet business logic.
Work closely with the CRM Systems team for continuous improvements and enhancements in Marketing Cloud.
Document technical setups such as data segmentation rules, SQL automations, AMP scripts, and email structures to align with overall blueprints.
Conduct training sessions and maintain up-to-date guidelines and documentation for Marketing Cloud usage.

Experience and skills:
Certification as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (additional certifications are a plus).
Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and hands-on expertise in managing customer journeys.
Knowledge in data segmentation, SQL, and AMP scripting.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a continuous improvement approach.
Self-driven and proactive, with flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, providing expertise and support for global and local projects.
