Your Challenge

As CTO you get to combine your hands on ability in close collaboration with the development team given an overall responsibility for our technical solutions and development. You get to apply your strategic height while shaping our roadmap making sure we offer and deliver a future proof solution. You will be part of our management team and have responsibility over both budget and results for your area. Examples of tasks:

• Develop, anchor and execute the technical roadmap, aligning and prioritize it
• Lead and support the development team in their daily work
• Ensure that our platform continues to maintain high quality, is reliable and secure
• Enable optimal outcome of our development where key component is communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners
• Making continuous improvements, e.g. further automate the product, evaluate and implement new technologies
• Ensure robust APIs to support app and web

The Team and Workplace

In Safello we are 30 employees who all are an important addition in our culture. Safello are rated an excellent employer by our people who also tend to stay long term as they grow with us over time. Our office is located centrally in Stockholm, but we are all flexible remote workers. In the facility we offer you gym, a rooftop terrace and a much appreciated barista.

In the position as CTO you will interact with our entire organization and have personnel responsibility over Developers, Testers, Designers and Product owner.

About You

We expect you to have a background within fintech, preferably within cryptocurrency. If not experience, we expect you to have an extensive interest in the industry. Probably you are familiar with Safello and appreciate our vision and our core value of taking responsibility while changing the market for the better.

Since we are operating in a strongly regulated environment we expect you to be well familiar with regulatory compliance. This position requires technical depth which is why we expect you to have hands on development skills yourself. Our technical environment is built with Java, React and AWS.

As we are a global team with various nationalities, you have no problem working in English.
