Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Cultural Integrator to join our engineering team in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As a Cultural Integrator you will have multiple responsibilities on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for translation between English and Korean and project coordination to support commissioning of our gigafactory in Skellefteå. You will participate in production ramping up, supplier trainings as well as other related documentation work. You will also have a unique opportunity to deliver trainings to engineering teams and other supplier facing departments in Northvolt on how to properly collaborate with suppliers who come from a Korean background. This can also be paired with research and collaboration with translators for other cultural backgrounds to create a similar training program for countries such as China, Japan, Germany, etc.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide both oral and written translation (in Mandarin and English) service between Northvolt and suppliers during commissioning, production ramping up.
Support to coordinate activities between Northvolt and suppliers.
Support suppliers trainings to NV Ett operators with translation and coordination.
Support related documentation translation and coordination work.
Support production managers with other assigned tasks.

Education/Experience
A degree in education and language or related field.
Excellent English and Korean skills, both in speech and writing.
Experience in an education role
